Rabbits are a Girl's Best Friend

One of our favorite questions at our Fantasy Gifts' stores is, "do you carry the rabbit?"  The question amuses us because the natural follow-up is, "which one?"  We carry about 20 rabbit style vibrators in our stores, but there have to be at least a hundred on the market right now.  Rabbit vibrators have been around for decades, however, it wasn't until "Sex and the City" featured Charlotte and her rabbit vibrator that the market really went main-stream.  The rabbit vibrator that Charlotte used was the Vibratex Rabbit Habit.  This is the Cadillac of rabbit vibrators, perfect for an Upper East Side Girl.  Made of elastomer, it is manufactured in Japan.  For anyone who favors a Toyota over a Ford - you'll know why Japanese motors are preferable!  It is actually illegal in Japan to make a sex toy that looks like a penis.  Hence, the rabbit was born!

Contrary to popular belief, rabbits come in all shapes and sizes.  When choosing a rabbit vibrator, first decide what material you would like.  Metal rabbits, while cold to start, warm up with your body and are hypo-allergenic.  The cheapest rabbits are made of TPE, which stands for thermo-plastic elastomer.  We like California Exotic's My First Jack Rabbit.  If you've never tried a rabbit vibrator before, this is a great one to start with.  The price point is reasonable, at under $40.00 It also has a slighter slimmer shaft so it's not too scary the first time out!

Once you've warmed up to your rabbit vibrator and you've decided you like it, the next step is to move up the California Exotic Waterproof Jack Rabbit.  This vibrator is made of PVC which is a supple, jelly-like material.  The cap secures so it can be used in or out of the water.  The multi-function shaft features variable speed and the rabbit ears have three speeds for intense clitoral stimulation.  At bit pricier at just under $70.00, this is our number one selling vibrator.

Looking for something different?  Try Pipedream Icicles No. 16.  This is the first ever vibrating glass rabbit.  It has 10 patterns of pulsation and the bullet can be used without the glass.  Glass vibrators are hypoallergenic, nonporous and body safe.  If cared for properly, they can last a lifetime.  Run the rabbit under warm water or place it in the microwave to heat things up.  Alternatively, chill it under cold water or put it in the freezer for a cool sensation.  Since glass is nonporous, cleanup is a snap.  Use toy cleaner and warm water or put it in the dishwasher for a worry-free wash after the fun.

One of the best ways to experience the joy of a rabbit is with the Wand Essentials Rabbit Attachment.  This little bunny fits onto what's already known as a girl's best friend - your Hitachi Magic Wand.  Combine the super-strength of the Hitachi's Magic Wand rechargeable, Japanese motor with this attachment and you'll soon be squirming with pleasure!

Finally, when you've really decided you love rabbits and are ready to make a significant investment in your pleasure, our favorite is Vanity by Jopen VR 10.  Made of smooth, firm silicone, it is water-safe.  The rechargeable stimulator has synchronous dual vibrating motors plus independent rotation.  It is ergonomically designed for the natural contours of a woman and has powerful, independent motors in the stimulator, shaft and rotating head.  Waterproof, whisper quiet, rechargeable, this vibrator has it all and also comes with a limited 10 year warranty.  A significant return on your investment for under $200.00.

Whether you're alone or with a partner, a rabbit is one of the best-selling sex toys of all time.  Stop in to your favorite store or look on-line for your new cuddly rabbit friend!
